Who Responsible for Mass destruction in Punjab ???

Punjab Govt. Responsible for all Fire, Public Propert, Private Property Loss

1. In India LAW is not very Strict, if any thing happen due to some
dera or any religious party or organization, then all Public or
Private property loss should be bear by that Party only and strict
action should be taken against Leader who makes the mobs react so
agressive.

2. When incident happen in evening on Sunday 24th May at 7pm from one
area to another area, and it splits all over very fast, make public
suffer very badly, people traveling in buses, car and bikes have no
idea to go which side, where ever they go they find the crowd comes on
the road and make fire to vechiles

Punjab Police instead of taking action against people who destroy
public property, they stop public by dont go, go back.......

may they can tell where to go from that place as all area is in tense
and all public is coming on the road and destroying the bus, car, jeep

3. In the night it self it was very bad condition and very violent all
over, and Punjab Govt was sleeping instead of taking action in the
morning it self to stop all this insident, even as a ordinary people
know that if it happen so bad tonight it will groe more bad in the
morning,

But Punjab Govt, play some Politics of VOTE to not make bad impression
by taking action against the Ravi Dass Community

4. Police Should be Separate from Politics and should be given power
to handle this kind of situation and take strict action against the
people who destroy public and private property of People.

5. Finall all Dera or Religious Party should be responsible for all
this action and loss of property should be paid by that Party only,
then only in future People will have fear when they have to pay for
all the damages and loss

make ur comments or suggestion on this topics to improve Standard of
living in India..

Two Dozens Car Set to Fire in GTB Nagar, Jalandhar

JALANDHAR: A clash between two groups in a gurudwara in Austrian
capital Vienna in which 11 people were injured Sunday triggered
tension in Punjab, with curfew being imposed in this city and several
vehicles being torched here and elsewhere in the state.
Security was heightened in several parts of the state after protestors
here torched a truck and a State Bank of India ATM and damaged several
vehicles.
The protestors blocked roads and highways in and around Jalandhar and
nearby industrial town of Phagwara.
"Curfew has been imposed in Jalandhar city following violence. Road
and rail traffic has been affected," Jalandhar range inspector general
of police (IGP) Sanjiv Kalra said.
Train traffic through Jalandhar, including the New Delhi-Amritsar
Shatabdi train, was affected as protestors blocked rail tracks too.
The Punjab Police was out in substantial numbers here and in Phagwara,
Hoshiarpur, Patiala and Nakodar towns after some members of a Sikh
sect, Guru Ravi Dass Sabha, took to the streets protesting against the
Vienna incident. Trouble was brewing in these places late Sunday
evening, police officials on the spot said.
There was considerable tension at the 'Sachh Khand' Dera (sect)
headquarters following the Vienna incident.
"I am in a very serious situation. I cannot say anything at this
point," IGP Kalra had earlier told IANS.
Protestors were out on the streets in Jalandhar and blocked traffic on
several roads, including National Highway (NH) No.1 that passes
through Jalandhar. The police had to direct traffic through
alternative and village roads.
Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal condemned the Vienna incident and
urged people in Punjab to remain peaceful. He urged the central
government to take up the matter with the Austrian government so that
the guilty were punished.
In Vienna, at least 11 people were wounded, many severely, in an armed
attack involving rival Sikh groups in a gurudwara Sunday morning. The
incident took place during a sermon by two guest gurus from India.
According to reports, several bearded and turbaned men equipped with
at least one firearm stormed the shrine during sermon. During the
melee, members of the congregation pounced upon the attackers and
overpowered them, beating some severely.

Vienna Ki Aag in Ludhaina too

Curfew was imposed in Jalandhar district as tension prevailed after
the news of the Vienna attack on the Dera Sachkhand head spread here
on Sunday.

Confirming the curfew imposition, Inspector General of Police,
Jalandhar zone, Sanjiv Kalra said the situation was precarious as
there were roadblocks everywhere and several incidents of arson were
reported. SSP R K Jaiswal said extra force was being called to control
the situation.

Violence was reported from many parts of the city as soon as the news
broke. While three trucks and three buses were set on fire in Buta
Mandi and near Focal Point area, an SBI ATM was burnt down near
Ravidas Chowk. Traffic was blocked in Phagwara, and at Pathankot Chowk
a large number of dera followers assembled, attacked various vehicles
and beat up a man very badly.

The Shatabadi Express was also stopped at Jalandhar city railway station.

Curfew in Jalandhar

Hot Intense in Punjab

Jalandhar: Curfew was clamped here on Sunday night and the Army was
put on alert as tension gripped the district after violence flared up
and protesters resorted to arson within hours after the head of a Dera
sect was attacked in a gurdwara shootout in Vienna.

Six buses were damaged in stone-pelting in Phagwara and Adampur, near
here, and a truck was torched. Traffic was blocked on National
Highway-1.

An ATM of a bank was also set on fire.

The police said curfew was clamped in Jalandhar as a precautionary measure.

The Jalandhar cantonment station was attacked by protesters who
targeted an EMU train and a passenger train, the police said.

Two express trains, including an Amritsar-bound Shatabdi, were
stranded at the station here after protesters gathered there in large
numbers.

Badal's appeal
Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his son and Deputy
Sukhbir Singh Badal appealed to the people to remain calm.

The protesters also gave a call for Phagwara bandh for Monday.
